* Known for controversial lyrics and stage show performances. His first hit Protection, was self-produced. For himself, he brandished the title Original Front Tooth, Gold Tooth, Gun Pon Tooth Don Gorgon, recording a bounty of apocalyptic 'burial' tunes interspersed with the most uncompromising 'reality' lyrics heard from any DJ of the ragga era. By the end of 1992, he survived a bout of Christianity, and was later arrested on gun charges. He remains one of the few genuinely original DJs without a major record deal.
