The Guiness Who's Who Of Reggae:
Cited as one of Jamaica's first ska bands. In 1969, Lee bought out the old WIRL set-up and established Dynamic Sounds as the best equipped and most popular studio in the Caribbean. Visiting stars such as Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Paul Simon all recorded at Dynamic, hoping for a piece of the reggae action. His main focus now is on soca music.

* Lee was initially a band leader and producer of note, with many important hits from Toots and the Maytals, Eric 'Monty' Morris, The Blue Busters, Eric Donaldson and others. His work spans early ska, rocksteady and reggae and now soca.

The Guiness Who's Who Of Reggae:
One of the first singers to challenge the dominance of DJs in 80s dancehall reggae. His first album Bounty Hunter sold well. He was also a winner at the UK Reggae Awards. Under Me Sensi was a big hit followed by Here I Come which was also a major hit that entered the UK charts.

* Initially a singer and biology teacher. Wear Yuh Size and Broad Hips singles attained instant success. In 1987 he was voted DJ of the year in Jamaica and celebrated with a debut album, Great Ambition. He was signed to Atlantic in 1988, and released The Governor album.

The Guiness Who's Who Of Reggae:
A Get It, Girls Like Dirt and Hear What The Old Man Say were songs done by Fred Locks in the late 60s. He later became discouraged by the lack of financial rewards.

* Lead singer for rocksteady lyrics who went on to become a mid-seventies legend. He was also affiliated with the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

The Guiness Who's Who Of Reggae:
* Her first recording was a version of Charley Pride's Someone Loves You Honey which went straight to the top of the Jamaican charts. In 1988 she recorded Telephone Love which subsequently became a big hit in Jamaica and America and received crossover status. She was the first female reggae star to pick up a major label deal. Lodge is also a talented painter and has even exhibited in Kingston art galleries. In addition she has appeared as an actor in several theatrical productions.
